Target Beauty Box | April 2016 Unboxing

This was such an impulse buy! When it comes to the Target Beauty Box, I really feel the pressure of it potentially selling out so I rush to purchase it without thinking about it. This month, the fact that it was live caught me half asleep, so of course I didn’t really consider whether anything in the box was worthwhile. Later that day, I did have buyer’s remorse, but now that I have it in my hands, I’m not so bothered. This month’s box retailed for $7 and contained seven items and a sample.Pantene AIRspray Hair Spray

Okay, so I admittedly don’t need another bottle of hairspray, even if it is only a deluxe size. This also came with a coupon for $1 off a Pantene purchase.

Laneige Water Bank Soothing Mask

Laneige! We meet again. This is the third Target box I’ve bought with a Laneige item in it. I think this is really going to be my favorite, though. This is a two piece gel mask. One piece is for the top half of your face, the forehead and eye area.The other is for your mouth and chin area. I’ve never tried a sheet mask like this and I’ve never tried a gel mask at all, so I’m pretty excited to give this one a go.

 

CoverGirl Colorlicious Lipstick in Dulce de Leche 225

I’m disappointed I received such a pale color in my box! As the only full-sized item, receiving a color I won’t use really brings the value of the box down for me.

Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation Sample in 20 Classic Ivory

I’ve been really curious about this foundation so I’m glad a sample was included. I’m thinking Classic Ivory won’t be the right color for me, but I’m still going to try out the formula and see if I like it. The sample also includes a coupon, which is awesome!!!Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes

Yay! I’m glad to see more face wipes this month, even though it’s not a full-sized pack like in January. I haven’t yet tried these yet, but I hear they’re popular so I’m sure I will like them.

Marlowe No. 022 Body Butter

The Target Beauty Box is what has introduced me to the Marlowe brand. I still haven’t put the previous item to good use though, so I haven’t formed an opinion. I sampled this body butter just to see what it smelled like, and I’ve got to say I like it. The scent is sweet and subtle.

Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport SPF 30 Lotion

Just like the last box, this one also includes a small bottle of sunblock. It will definitely be put to good use this summer, and the coconut smell is intoxicating!!! 😉

CeraVe Healing Ointment

The last item in my box this time around is this healing ointment and I’ve got to say I don’t really know what it’s for. I suspect it’s for very, very dry skin?
